Kodak Black still has a few months left of jail time before he will be released for probation violation, but he is spending his time in prison wisely.  Back in May, he legally changed his name from Dieuson Octave to Bill K. Kapri to signify a fresh start, and he then he began working on his GED. Three months ago the judge granted him permission to get tutored for the exam, Kodak took to Twitter to announce that he passed. “It Feels Like The Day I Bought My First Chain,” he tweeted. The rapper was arrested in January after his Florida home was raided during an Instagram live stream. He was slapped with grand theft of a firearm, child neglect, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon. The charges were later dismissed and the child services investigation has been dropped.
